Appointments
The practice has adopted a system called advanced access which means that some appointments can be booked from 3 days to three weeks in advance, the remainder are booked on the day.
If you need to see a doctor on the same day, we will offer you the next available slot, but it may not necessarily be with the doctor of your choice.
Appointments are booked for 10 minutes. Please bear this in mind so that doctors can try to keep to time. If you need extra time with a doctor, please inform the receptionist when you call to book the appointment.
Due to the winter season and an increase in demand, our open surgery on Friday afternoons from 3.30pm-5.00pm will only be for urgent cases. Please note that each appointment is for one patient only and we will only accept genuine urgent cases. If your medical problem is deemed not to be of an urgent nature, you will be asked to book an appointment on another day.
If you cannot attend an appointment you have made please either phone or use this website to let us know so that we can offer it to another patient.
Urgent Cases
We will always try to see medically urgent cases on the same day, usually by the duty doctor if the doctor of your choice is already fully booked.
